Location & parking Serenity is located in opposite the iconic Grand Hotel on St. Nicholas Cliff. We are Minutes from The South Bay, town centre with all its restaurants & shops and Scarborough Spa. We unfortunately do not have our own car park however there are over 700 spaces in Scarborough town centre with the cheapest option being "on-street" which we sell permits for or the easiest option for ease and security is the Multi-storey car park behind the Guest House. the cheapest parking is £7 per day and the most expensive (but also the most secure) is the multi-storey being £12 per day. Either way we recommend arriving to the hotel and dropping your bags and letting us assist you with best place to park depending on the day and time you arrive.
Food and Drink Breakfast @ Serenity is served between 9am and 10am and costs £10 for each adult guest, and £5 for each child, on a pay as you go basis, meaning you never pay for something you don't use. To arrange breakfast you can simply inform us on arrival which days you would like breakfast during your stay. We cater for both Vegetarians and Vegans as well as dietary requirements like celiac and allergies alike. Aside from breakfast we are in an ideal location to try the array of restaurants, bars and pubs in the local area, you really are spoilt for choice for food in Scarborough's South Bay area.
Accessibility Unfortunately being a 230 year old building Serenity Guest House is not as disabled friendly as it could be. We have 4 steps up to the front door front the street although these are not steep they are also not small. We do have a lift however the lift is very small and unfortunately doesn't fit a wheelchair. We also do not have any ground floor rooms. We have a space where a guest can leave a wheelchair downstairs but some self or assisted mobility is required to access the guest bedrooms. We apologise for this but the house was built before a time when disability was considered. We are unable to improve the access for disabled persons beyond what we have already due to the historic nature of the building.
